English Premier League Fantasy Challenge To Enter To enter, complete the registration form online. Entrants will be asked to create a user ID and password, which they will use for future login to their team page. Mini-Leagues When entering you can create or join a private mini-league of friends to compete against. When creating a mini-league, you will be asked to enter a league name and password which can be used by your friends to join at anytime. No additional prizes will be awarded for mini-leagues. How To Play Once registered, you may enter the Contest by first selecting a team name and then submitting an eleven (11) player team from the list of players located online, which is your entry. When selecting a team of 11, you must remain under the £100 million budget. In addition, no more than three (3) players from the same team can be selected. Player position listings are final and will not change during the course of the Contest. You may select between two different formations: 4-4-2 or 4-3-3. Each formation must consist of: 4-4-2 1 Goalkeeper 4 Defenders 4 Midfielders 2 Strikers 4-3-3 1 Goalkeeper 4 Defenders 3 Midfielders 3 Strikers Regardless of the formation selected, all 11 player values may not ever exceed the £100 million budget. Contest Weeks The Contest consists of 34 Contest weekly periods ("Contest Week 1", "Contest Week 2", etc., collectively "Contest Weeks"). All Contest Weeks, will begin on Saturday, and end on the following Friday. Player Transfers Prior to the start of the start of the season, you may make unlimited transfers to your team. Once the first match of the season starts, each team is limited to a total of 30 transfers for the entire season. In addition, no more than four (4) transfers may be made in any one Contest Week (Tuesday through Monday). You may transfer players in and out of your team as many times in a week as long as you remain under the £100 million budget, do not exceed 4 total transfers and use either a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 formation at all times. Once you've made 30 transfers, your team will be locked and cannot change the rest of the season. All transfers must be completed 5 minutes prior to the start of the first match of week to be eligible for that Contest Week. Once the first match starts, your team for that Contest Week is locked and you can make transfers again the following Tuesday. Attempts to make transfers which would result in the combined value for all players on a user's team to exceed the £100,000,000 budget will be rejected. Scoring Scoring is awarded based on the scoring system below: All Player Points Appear in starting XI 2 Appear as a substitute 1 Goal Scored 5 Missed Penalty -5 Own Goal -3 Sent Off -5 Booking -2 Goalkeepers and Defenders Only Penalty Save (goalkeepers only) 5 Goal Allowed -1 Cleansheet bonus (must play entire match) 4 Not Allowing Goal During Part-Appearance 2 A "Clean sheet bonus" is awarded to goalkeepers and defenders who play for an entire match in which their team does not allow the opposition to score.
